What is a Membership Tier?

This is KT’s customer membership tier system for users of its five major services (Mobile, Internet, IPTV, Landline, Internet Phone). Your membership tier is determined based on your annual usage fees (total payments across these services).

Annual Usage Fees Included in Tier Calculation

• Mobile

  Basic monthly fee, domestic callcharges, data usage charges

• Landline

  Basic monthly fee, domestic call charges
  (Note: Lines receiving long-term customer benefit programs are excluded)

• Internet

  Service fee for the basic internet package

• Internet Phone

  Basic monthly fee, domestic call charges

• IPTV

  Service fee for the basic IPTV package
  (Note: Genie TV Skylife is excluded)

Annual usage fees are calculated as of the membership tier evaluation reference time (00:00 on November 1 each year), based on the eligible charges for the five major services you are subscribed. This amount is the total of the charges for those services over the 12 months immediately preceding the membership tier evaluation reference time, excluding all overdue amounts, VAT, micropayments, information usage fees, debt collection fees, device installment payments, international call charges, roaming charges, and installation fees. Discounted charges are excluded, but charges with the optional discount (20–25% rate discount) are included.

Membership Tier Criteria

• Annual usage amount
  ₩2,000,000 or more

• Annual usage amount
  ₩1,000,000 or more

• Annual usage amount
  ₩600,000 or more

• Annual usage amount
  ₩400,000 or more

• Annual usage amount
  ₩200,000 or more

• Annual usage amount
  less than ₩200,000

• Customers with annual usage below ₩200,000 who have a mobile subscription period of less than one year will be assigned to the White Tier.
• Example of annual usage calculation: The 2026 tier is based on billing amounts from November 2024 to October 2025 (usage period: October 2024 to September 2025).
• Membership benefits can be used without annual discount limits (points), according to each partner’s usage conditions (effective from May 8, 2025).
